GM CAI 6.2L Discontinued?
I was looking to get the GM cold air intake with tune for my SS 1LE. I was told there are units in stock, but it has been discontinued. Will I still be able to get parts and filters down the road for it? Or should I avoid it

I've checked on them in the past few weeks and I've not heard that. I know there are different part numbers out there for them for whatever reasons. They have the 50 state legal one now which seems to be the same thing, maybe the earlier one is discontinued.

The filter is reusable you shouldn’t ever need a replacement
Also CAI inc makes the GM cold air intakes. Ryan B.

Artey, just get you a Cold Air Inductions CAI and call it done. It’s cheaper and works with the stock tune. They make the one for GM at a higher price than their own unit. It won’t void your warranty either. I have had one on my ‘16 SS for over a year now and have had warranty work done without any problems. If there is a question with using the Cold Air Inductions part just tell the dealer that they make the GM accessories part. Hope this helps you.
