Some 20's are staring to show up on lots including the new LT1!
There's new SS's with the updated bumper. The V8 powered LT1 can be spotted by its hood vent. The dealers are calling it an SS with 1lz package. They look good!

I checked on this in my area. No way that's gonna fly unless that price is something they'd be willing to come down on.

saw a red SS yesterday on facebook. strangely it didn't have the wing spoiler or the dove tail spoiler, it had the real low version from the RS.

GM is killing me with these 1LZ,LT1's naming conventions.. They're getting real lazy. Hopefully this will change instead of giving these cars the rpo code names. However the front end is totally better now but I still like the original 6th gen

Yippie! The SS looks better than LS & LTs. Now our attention can turn to the T4/V6 grille.

Since the SS top front grill is the same as the 2019, I wonder if the bowtie can be removed without leaving any visible mounting points/flat spots. Looks like it sticks out quite a bit, so hopefully the badge was made to fit the grill and not vice-versa.

Those wheels look very bright, almost white. How do they look in person?

You're getting a 1SS with a 10 speed and Line Lock. If you'd like it for less, wait for a used one. lol I like them more than the '19s, but the wheels look a little meh (thought they were a little meh on the 16-19s too). The Red Hot one I get down with, the Grey one has some weird honeycomb action going on with the grille, and no fog LEDs. :( Are those both SS's? Why are they changing the front bumpers from SS to SS? 16-18 still rule IMO, but this is a step up. I assume they're keeping the same ZL1 front bumper? I hope so. |

the red one is an SS
the grey one is the LT1. in other words base front end with the V8.

God damn that is confusing.
So the Red one HAS an LT1. The Grey one IS an LT1. The f**k. So now when my gf sees a Camaro and asks me "is that an SS?" I will simply reply: I have no idea. |

The Berlinetta was always more of a "luxury" model.
The LT1 is more like a B4C.
