Love the look much better without the spoiler. Hopefully GM will make deleting it an option. I'll sign a waiver promising to keep it below 150 mph.

reverse mohawk vs sunroof

With regards to this, looks are secondary. What matters to me is function and how form affects performance. If the reverse mohawk offers little performance advantage, I'd prefer the sunroof providing one doesn't diminish structural integrity or add significant weight (especially given its high location and therefore the effect it can have on the center of mass). I wish GM would explicitly specify the magnitude, if any, of performance oriented advantages to either case.

Like-wise, I would wonder about the significance of a carbon fiber roof (if one were offered). By how much of a difference would that make? Would it be discernible? And to what extent? Under what conditions?

The car looks great, I would like to see the hood bulge with a little more height similar to the new Corvette or 69 Z28.

Very nice pics! I need to see this in person to make a final decision though.. At some angles it looks perfect but at other angles it looks short and stubby.... Hope that's not the case...

I wonder how this Camaro will look with Rally stripes -- considering odd feature angles on the hood and the deep reverse-mohawk. Can't wait to see.

Thanks Chris! Yea the Indy stripes may fit (although doesn't look too good with those nostril vents), but the wider Rally stripes would get into the hood vents.. but I guess we will see soon.

I was debating on getting Summit White or Silver Ice. These pics have really helped me out. Going with Silver Ice Metallic!

I agree. Hoping the Rally Stripes will look better.

I've been looking closely at the roof since GM announced they have a new welding procedure for the side panels to the roof which eliminates the need for plastic cover strips or expensive finishing of the weld seam. It looks fantastic, and the way the windshield fits so smooth and flush to the top of the roof makes it as if it's all one continuous piece. As if the car was carved out of one solid piece of steel.
