The question, is it worth it????
in September of 2013 to mandate punishment for Texas motorists who do not display both the front and the rear license plates. Motorists who do not have a front license plate risk incurring a Class C misdemeanor charge, punishable by fine not to exceed $500. |

I'm in Austin and I swear by my Sto-n-show. I got pulled over the other day for 12 over and got let off with a warning. The deputy absolutely looked down for my front plate. Without that, I think I'd have gotten two tickets instead of none.

I live in DFW. It just depends on the cop. I ran for awhile with no problems. I got the zl1 addons tow hook plate holder just because i'd rather avoid the trouble. My buddy just got pulled over about 2 weeks ago driving his challenger for no front plate.
