.. .. It's not your typical auto magazine review, but I really like this guy. Plenty of exterior shots to see the new design in real time. It's a 1LE he's reviewing. |

Saw the base Camaro and 1LE cars over the weekend. Let me tell you, that 1LE in person looks freakin awesome. I'm sure it'll look even better with the painted bumper next year but, I'd be happy with it just the way it is, great job Chevy

Does anyone see any more info on this? I was about to order this week but now I'm considering waiting. I actually like the blacked out center on the 1LE but I still prefer the old bowtie placement. |

I saw first '19 2ss vert with black bumper. I was shocked how it looked. Much better than expected. May have been the new Satin Steel color that made black bumper look better. The whole car was great looking as a vert. Not crazy over standard wheels on it. Rear lights grayed out as well. It is the color I wanted in 16 that was not available. Have been looking for a 2004 C5 Z06 to buy as a 2nd toy but after seeing this new vert having second thoughts. Had planned on keeping my 16 mosaic black till 8th gen and buying C5 so i have vette to switch off.

I'd be surprised to see this actually become the default production face, since there are already other 2019s being produced with the current face. My guess is it will become an option, and maybe default for 2020. We'll see. This makes me happy.

...So it's a "Refreshed Refresh"..."Refresh Do-over"...."Refresh....NOT!..." or a "Refresh....Psyche!"....
So worry over sales quickly produces panic-mode.....This worries me of what in the world they may have in store for a 7thGen...What in the world kind of research have they been doing that lead to this fiasco? If this 6th Gen refresh is an admitted botch job, the anticipation will likely be for another turkey mistake for the 7th Gen, that is likely how far along?.... Here's what your 7thGen likely is scheduled to look like...or, it's back to the drawing board hopefully with enough time left... Congrats to the early adopters of the '19SS...You will possibly have the most limited edition and rarest model of them all...lol... |

What I do remember is when images for that TF car came out...and I basically said that there was zero chance a production car would end up looking like that and it was just a Michael Bay travesty.....boy was I wrong.

1. The Flow tie was not needed for additional cooling. 2. GM became aware of the heavy criticism of the design and decided to change it. |

How about just ditching the SS fascia altogether and make the RS fascia standard for Camaro? If the ZL1 needs it's own unique design, fine. If the V-6 front can work for the SS, just use it and simplify things...Now with this concept design, that will be at least the fourth different Camaro front for this year alone....
The article mentions the dealers are reporting the "take rate" for the current SS is low....So low they are going to likely change it....How is the "take rate" for the RS...? All they need to do is figure out how to center the bow-tie on this grille, lol...and they'll be good to go... Yeah, the flow tie...lol....I think they are just hoping the "jury will disregard any previous mention of the flow-tie's importance"...lol |
