I love the look of the Hurst shifter. I would put the emblem on the decklid, opposite of where the SS emblem would be.

I would definitely advertize the shifter because of the Hurst reputation and for memories... Personally, I would place it on the dash passenger side like showed here on this pic.

Shifter looks great! I love my hurst in my Cobalt!

I had that hurst badge on my cobalt for about 9 months and the badge looked great new but began to fall apart. The paint started to peel and crack, which led me to remove the badge.

I'd vote for mounting inside the car if possible!

Nice badge, but personally I wouldn't stick anything to my ride, unless it's a a Nitrous switch. LOL

2SSRS, where did you get the SS emblem for your rear deck lid? Do you have the front one as well? Sure looks good, way better than the bow tie!!!

I installed the hurst billet2 shifter myself and love it just a little jingle like noise at high rpm but dudnt install the hushmat or neoprene kit yet!so whats your opinion on that and how many people did and does it help the slight noise?and if did where did u place the hushmat? I thought about trying the neoprene bushings but wasant sure about the shifter workn loose since there are ribs on handle that lock together? If any pics or opinions on this please let me know outcome!

Thanks for reply what I did is put around the stick where the screws mount to handle under leather boot is that where you are refering to or under the rubber boot?but yea it did help but still jingles a lil just not as bad!but thought about trying the 2 neoprene bushings then doing that?but yet I'm worried about the upper stick working loose? Did you install one and what did you do and your outcome?I was afaid of wraping around the pin like shown on instruction pics due to not pivoting good? And only have 1 more pc of the hushmat so like to get rite the next time!and fyi b4 I wraped the lower stick connection I covered with electrical tape 1st so the sticky stuff on back didn't get all over the 2 screws
