Exhaust notes and tones can be very subjective from one person to the next. What sounds good to you may not sound good to someone else. I encourage you to check out clips on YouTube, go to local car shows and talk to other 2.0L owners and don't be afraid to contact the manufacturer for answers to your questions.

We offer one Axle-back option for the 2.0L engine, our Flowmaster American Thunder, part# 817751. This system provides a moderate exhaust note and includes 409S mandrel bent piping, all hardware for a simple installation and a lifetime, limited warranty. I have included a YouTube clip below for you to see this system in action. If you have any questions about this system or any other Flowmaster intake, exhaust or tuner product just give us a call at 707-544-4761.

Are you still happy with the sound, and did you end up with any weird drone or rattles due to change?

Again, you are dead stopped on the V8 or nothing here.

I agree some would go way too far and make it sound like a fart can, but there a good inbetween somewhere.

My advice; if someone asks how to make his I4 sound better and the only answer that comes in your head is "get the V8 or do nothing", maybe it is the right time to not post and move to the next thread. I am saying that to anybody that fits under the hat.

If I could afford a ZL1... I'd still get the I4. I don't need a V8. But I do would like to enhance it slightly, same as OP does.

I actually took the kit off and went with a custom quad tip set up.

Agreed. I think it is the best sounding yet for the Turbo 4.

^^^^ I'd like to see a video of the NXT as well. Not being able to hear it has been the only thing holding me back from a purchase.
