Love everything about it. I'll hopefully be having a house built this time next year, so your garage will be among the samples I show the builders

Ok, yes I saw the pic of the trailer. Looks like they did a nice job! What I was wondering is what type of paint or coating is that? I mean I am what, 2000 miles from Ninja Coatings, so I doubt they can help me.

It is a three layer epoxy / sealant coating.

First is the grind down of the current floor for prep.

1) First layer is the epoxy - let dry 4-5 hours
2) Coloring / texture layer - full layer (1/4-3/8" thick)
* This is where your color pattern goes in (dozens to choose from)
* Setup over-night
* Cross swept - first diagonal is to remove excess
* Second diagonal is even out floor

3) Sealant - you have a textured / colored floor of your choice
* 36-48 hours to fully cure
* Floor is close to 1/2 thick with real texture

Lifetime warranty

Our attitude was this is it for us. We downsized by some 2,000 sq ft. We have the 3 car garage with room to do a stacked lift if we really have to have 2 toys. EVERYONE that I know that has done a do it yourself floor has had trouble (peeling / cracking / floating loose) in 3-4 years.

We really wanted this to be one and done. Both the flooring and the cabinets have lifetime warranties. Neighbors stop and ask to see the garage.

My ideal garage would be a 2 car with a tandem 3rd on one side that has enough room for a lift in the future. Kind of a shop within a traditional garage. I spend a LOT of time in either my dad's or my brother's shop, so it would make sense for me to spend a larger chunk of my budget in the garage knowing I'll be in there quite a bit with both of our cars along with any future Camaro or 4th gen f-body projects I curse myself with

Yours will definitely inspire the floor and shelving style in mine if I can help it.

Now that's a garage!! For us, the downsizing was critical. We are both nearing the point where we pull the rip cord and jump out of the work force.

The garage will be an entertainment area, when needed. Back out the cars, setup the tables and chairs and bring on 300 pounds of crawfish, crabs and shrimp. When it is over, turn the pressure washer on and hose it down. Doors open and fans and two hours later, pull the cars back in.

I am waiting on my HVAC guy to come and give me my choices for the split unit heat pump. That should go in by mid-September.

I just installed one. It works great !! I wont be using the heating part because it has in floor heat but it cools down to a nice 70 degrees. I used a 3ton capacity.
