Purge-Cloud LED light for strobe light effect

Added the Purge-Cloud LED light for strobe light effect. Put the the LED inside the lower drip pan in ordered to face upwards to shoot out of the hood vent. Going to put a toggle switch on the light to kill the light if I want it off during a purge.

Shorten the trunk lines to the bottles to clean it up a bit. I now notice I should have put the line under the carpet further up to not show as much of the line coming out.

Still looks like a very clean set up. I'd leave it.

Thanks for the input and it’s funny that you mention that because I just found another pressure gauge with a 9 foot cable that I am going to hook directly to bottle. If I had known about this product before I would not have bought the two pressure gauges I have.

I ordered the GlowShift’s Black 7 Color Series Nitrous Pressure Gauge. Going to mount it in one of my vents, this way I will have eyes on the pressure of the bottles.

Link for anyone interested in this gauge.

That's the gauge I have, also have the afr gauge too, those are nice for the money and the psi is dead on with the bottle gauge. Yall want to leave heaters on bottle before valve so when you turn them on you don't have to pressurize the system until you get ready to run. The glow gauge can go inline on one of the ports on the line and block the other one off. then u can use it right at the last minute for accurate and consistent run pressure.

Thanks man, I plan on moving the current gauges up on the bottle neck and will put the glow gauge in line as you suggested. I am currently rethinking the spraying system. First I thought just a shark nozzle, then got TB plate. Now I am toying with the idea of direct injection with rails and dual nozzles. That kit parts and rails/nozzle adds another $1400 to the build. Stay tuned.

Ok, sorry forgot about the mechanical gauge, and thats where I have mine on the bottle where I can glance at it while the heaters are on, once the sensor is on point you really won't even have to look at the gauge on the bottle anymore. I have the n2o outlet 102 plate, at 150 shot and pulling plugs several times it does really good with distribution on a ported msd.

Hey turboalb the glowshift gauge needs 3 wires hooked up.

1.) 12V is no problem.
2.). Ground is no problem.
3.) which fuse did you tap into for illumination control?

Thanks

Still working on it, one thing at a time.

Spent a few hours on the wiring and installing the nitrous pressure gauge in the AC/Heat duct/bezel. The install went pretty easy, now just have to choose the color I want displayed. The yellow is the one I am going to keep on mostly but to be honest the blue probably looks the best. Plus the colors look better in person then on the camera. Next on to installing the pressure safety switch for the fuel system in order to turn off the system if the fuel ever gets low.

Note: I didn’t hook up the orange wire to adjust brightness on gauge yet. Found some info on the net. 1. One person said hook up to headlight fuse. 2. Another said it made the gauge light flicker. So for now just leaving it alone.

This is a well thought out install but not a cheap one. I hope that thing kicks some ass with some great times.

Thanks man, well from last build I rushed it and learnt to take my time on this build. Doing the direct injection on NOS as we speak, just got the Texas Speed EL-C7 NA cam, BTR harden rods, upgraded springs, LS7 lifters, smith brothers lt1 (gen 5) bronze trunnion upgrade kit. Next major expense is drop in pistons, g-force shafts, one piece driveshaft. Now am thinking once the motor is pulled I might as upgrade the clutch, because when I drop it at 4,000 RPM the stock clutch is not going to like it much.

I drove my tuner crazy last time, did one thing at a time. This time collecting it all at once and putting it together for a first and final tune hopefully. Minor adjustments of course.

It’s a labour of love to me. Going to drop in a backseat delete soon. Think I will make my own.
