We get it, 2019-20 guys, you are the kings of crackle and pop with the tune changes GM did There is another thread with the exact numerical changes if someone's interested: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=563618

I'm okay with the occasional few pops on decel, feel no need to rice the car out, so I'll leave the tune as it is, but to each their own, I do understand the appeal

I engine brake all the time just to hear the pops and burbles in my '19.

Introduce a small exhaust leak and you'll be shooting ducks. My 18 is pretty active with the AWE exhaust on deceleration and start-up, turn on rev-match and start dropping gears and she'll sing pretty good.

I'm sure they revise the factory calibration every year.

Tune? LOL. It’s a calibration written in software in a computer module. Never understood “tune” but I guess it’s from the old days when you gave your car a “tune up”.

Not a tune, a recalibration.

And no clue if it was changed For 2019 but it gets changed often by OEMs.

Not sure if someone already mentioned it or not but the calibration for the ‘19 SS was 100% Definitely changed and Chevrolet intentionally added the exhaust pops. Al Oppenheiser Mentioned it either in an article or video when the ‘19 launched, and before you ask he did specifically mentioned that you can’t write that calibration file to a 16 through 18 car. Not sure if that is 100% true, I haven’t tried.... Yet.

The thread I linked to earlier has the exact changes made between 2017-18 and 2019, in case you want to give it a try with HPTuners.

i knew about going to lower gears but i wonder if it damage the gears?

Mine has the standard exhaust going to see what it'll do. I know the dual mode was about a thousand or so dollars wonder what it would cost to do the upgrade after the fact? Maybe after market products would be more cost effective but you still have the different size openings to deal with (see comparison pics next page)
