Will 10" and 11" wide wheels fit a 2SS?

Stock is 8.5" front with 245/40 tires and 9.5" rear with 275/35 tires. Chevy can't tell me if the 10" 285/30 front and 11" 305/30 will fit a SS. The 2016 catalog offers these wider wheels for the SS (called split spoke satin graphite).

The wider wheels fit the ZL1 and 1LE but I do not know if the fenders are flared out to fit them.

Does anyone know if the wider wheels and tires fit a SS?

Yes, tha 1LE come with 10 inch fronts and 11 inch rears just get the offset numbers and match it up. I love the look on mine with 285 fronts and 305 rears.

Yes they will fit just fine, nothing was done to the car for them to fit as long as you are talking the OEM 20x10 and 20x11 front and rears with the OEM offsets.

Any 20x10/11 can work with the right offsets yes, only thing is proper tire sizes.

one more question... are the alignment specs different on the 1LE and if so, is the 2ss adjustable (camber, castor) ?

No

..and all cars have adjustable caster and camber, but requires an alignment machine.

Where can I get the offset specs? I can try the local Chevy dealer but from my prior experience on the topic they won't have that amount of detail.

@whiterocket 10 and 11 are of the norm on these cars, here are the off set requirements all just depends on the brand but here is what we offer and use.

20x10 5x120 23et with a 285/30/20 tire

20x11 5x120 43et with a 305/30/20 tire

no mod requirements, no spacers, no cutting, nothing just straight bolt on.
even if your lowered your good to go.

is there a way to fix (calibrate) the speedo / odometer if I change rear tire diameter?

Yep, that definitely works if we're talking about 20x10 and 20x11 in the right offsets of course. Here's a set of 20x10 ET23 and 20x11 ET43's with the 285/305 tire combo so you can see how that fitment looks on a SS.

305/35/20s are only about 3 mph slower on the speedo than actual speed
