Came seem to find a straight answer on this... what exactly can I pull of of an SS and add to the v6? And would the SG3 lowering kit be better than what I could pull off of an SS? Also, why are the sway bars and control arms upgrades for an SS not available for the v6? Isn’t it the same chassis? Isn’t the v6 1LE just a v6 with SS suspension parts??

I just want to upgrade with GM OEM parts.... I want to avoid wasting money on something like FE3 parts when there are (hopefully) better OEM parts for a bit more

If I had a run at the GM performance catalog.... what should I get for the v6? Sway bars, lowering kit, control arms, ride links, etc.

Or would I be wiser and save money (without sacrificing performance) by grabbing parts off an SS... and what parts would those be???

I believe you can use everything suspension wise except the front springs.

There’s aftermarket like BMR and SPL that are better but more expensive and if you’re not fully utilizing the suspension then it would be a waste imo.

Also take a look at the pinned suspension megathread, it shows many part numbers and what pieces are shared as well as different between the cars
