That I'd guess you'd have to find a car accessory/stereo/service shop of some kind, if you cant do it. The Camera mounts out front, anywhere you can fit it. The video switch plugs inline with the stereo harness. I don't think its terribly difficult.

Thanks, but there is no way I’m putting more work into this seat project.

Today, the wife and I drove to the next town over and grabbed some Indian food. ~65°F out with the top down.

Painted and installed my inexpensive strut tower brace from eBay. Since it’s not really functional, I just bought a cheap one off eBay and painted it to give the engine compartment a little more visual appeal.

We went out to Circuit of the Americas today to do a lap with the top down. They were collecting donations for the local food bank and letting everyone on the track. They had a 20mph speed limit so no quick laps. I think I hit 38 one time. Nice day, temp around 80.

Out of the pit lane and up to turn 1.

I ceramic coated the wheels. In about two weeks I'll be painting the calipers.

Installed SMG Speed bumper marker smoked lights (cheapies) and McGard black lug nuts. I should have swapped them off my 2017 that I traded. Totally forgot about them.

I had it at the dealer for the free oil change and asked them to check it and they couldn't find any drain, but said they would need to put it in a recording meter for a day to see what was waking the BCM. I took it home, put the OEM bulbs back, and have not had an issue since. Coincidence?
incandescent bulbs are basically short circuits. The current leaked from the reverse switch that turns the reverse bulbs on is just not high enough to heat the metal so it glows.

Adding a parallel resistor to the bulb will not result in any additional battery drain than the incandescent bulb would cause. So either it wasn't wired in parallel or something else was an issue. The circuit only has what the switch is giving it in terms of power to waste unless you've changed the circuit.

The reverse circuit is quite different from the issues experienced in turn signal led conversions (pre 2019).
1.The reverse circuit doesn't have a bcm monitoring load and doing something about it.
2. The reverse circuit does leak power when off, all the time.
3. Led lights require so little current to light up, that many led bulbs will glow or flicker from this current leakage.
4. All that's required to eliminate that is a shunt that can drop what's available to the led bulbs down enough so that they dont glow/flicker. The range that can be done in goes from load resistor levels up to plain old quarter watt kOhm resistors.
5. You only need one resistor as the reverse lights are wired in parallel. However, if using a load resistor, some people may notice one bulb being slightly brighter than the other since whichever bulb is further away from the load resistor will be getting slightly less power than the one closer.

As for you wanting to test if a battery drain was caused by your reverse light swap.. You could test the battery draw while sitting with the oem bulbs. then take the oem bulbs out and test the draw again (open circuit). If you see less draw or no change, then your problem was either in the installation or coincidental. If a bcm was being kept awake due to low draw on the reverse circuit you'd see it there. But I'm nearly 100% sure that if the draw was due to an active bcm, it was coincidental or due to an installation mistake that led to a circuit that was supposed to be off to remain on (you were powering it via the shunted positive reverse line)
