Great deal on an SS... did you buy in June? What rebates got you to that price point?

So I found this

Found this when I went to look at it

and

Found out why a 2017 was still on the lot in May 2018. I ended getting it for $25k and negotiated to have the vinyl stickers removed and pink leather seats replaced at no cost.

Bought her 2016 2SS w/Adrenaline Red interior, A8, NPP, MRC with less than 7,000 miles in February. Paid $36k which I felt was a good price for our area. The wife is ecstatic.

I did buy in June - I thought long and hard about waiting to see if additional incentives would be offered over the July 4th weekend, but decided, wth.

Supplier pricing - was about $2k.
Non-GM vehicle in household - was another $2k.
Additional $6200 from dealer.

I did NOT qualify for the additional $1000 for some localities. Ironic as my home address qualified... but I papered the car at the address of a vacation home and that zip code did not have the $1000 locality concession.

But... sales tax in Illinois (home) is 7.5%. Which would have been $3201 in sales tax. Vacation home in South Carolina? They charge an ad valorem tax of $500 - no other sales tax. So... "saved" another $2700 there. All in all, very pleased with the deal.
