Having issues with getting the top to go down on 2016 SS. Is it possible to put the top down manually?

I don't know how to manually put the top down. Have you tried using the key fob?
Wondering what your problem is? Mine doesn't go down using the switch if it has sat in the sun for a while. I can always put it down using the key fob. However once it is down using the key fob I can't get it to go back up using the switch until I drive it a while. I would be interested to know if it is possible to raise the roof manually. |

It was bought through an auction so I dont have a manual. Numerous things were missing on the car. Key fob doesnt work and the switch give me a message saying can only be operated manually. So does any one know how and can tell. NO MANUAL, NO WARRANTY.

All manuals are online at Chevy's website. I remember glancing at the procedure at some point so it's definitely there.

Thanks for responding. I read the online manual and it does not tell you how to manually put the top down. It tells you to take it to the dealer. So does anyone know how to put the top down manually? Without taking to the dealer. I dont have that option. Any Chevy dealer mechanics listening? So anyone can tell how to physically put it down or a link would be appreciated thank you.

Sounds like you need to make a list and find a good dealer, bite the bullet and get everything fixed. |

In factual opinion, it would be really hard to impossible to put the top down on that thing. Don't know how to do it myself, but you may be able to learn from somewhere.
