Arrow Can I install this SS shift knob into my V6?

Hi guys, I have a 2016 V6 with manual shift and I really like this shift knob:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/182531461208

The SS gear layout is different than the 1LT V6 because on my V6, the reverse gear is at the left side of the 1st gear.

Can I still buy that shift knob and install it on my Camaro?
The seller couldn't give me 100% confirmation so I'm asking you guys.

Thanks!

I'd ask the seller if he has one for the 1LT V6.

Nope, that's the one he has and that's the style I want. I really like that.
I just want to know if the SS shift knob fits the LT V6.

Shit Knob

If it is the red cap you like, the different shift pattern has been noted.

The other thing preventing installation on the shift lever is an internal feature preventing it from dropping down far enough to engage the retention screw. Easily remedied with a little modification (grinding).

Not only the red cap, but also the texture of the shift knob itself.
I didn't understand if I can buy it and install it on my V6 1LT.

Is it possible or not? Apologize I'm a newbie!

Thanks but I didn't understand if I can still buy it or not, without doing any modifications.

When I buy the shift knob with its boot, isn't it "plug and play"?

It might be the feel of the Alcantara shift knob you like, I believe a simple search can lead you to one that will fit the V6 Tremec 3160.

Be the first to confirm for everyone else.

If it works, you can swap the emblem/shift pattern to be correct for your V6. It's a separate part.

To be honest I don't even care about the emblem/shif pattern to be correct.
I just wanted to know if it fits because I am in Europe and it will take a month to get it from the US at least.

I think it is a great idea for theft prevention. I would get one.

Haha, don't misunderstand me. The thing is that I cannot find a nice emblem for the V6, or I would use it

It has been already hard to find that one and nobody seems to give me a guarantee that it will fit.

I found this video on how to replace a shift knob:

It *should* fit, as long as the V6 uses the same insert inside

It's easy, universal fit. The shift pattern would be different.

There is a carbon fiber lookalike shift knob insert for the V6 as well, with the correct shift pattern. Part number is 24293738, you may be able to get one at an Opel (or Vauxhall) dealership.
