Any way to raise idle speed without a tune?

My idle speed is at 600rpm anyway to raise it to like 800? Are all 6.2s at 600?

My ZL1 idles around 600 rpm with no mods except for a RotoFab intake. You would have to get a tune to raise the idle speed.

It requires either a tune, a throttle controller that can permanently change idle rpm (not sure if these exist, I'd check into Soler's TC)... or simply a weight on the accelerator

Outside of what has been said here I don't really know anyway to do it without a tune. May I ask why you want to raise the idle rpm?

I've got the '17 SS also and it idles at 600 too. It makes me a little nervous as well, but it has never stalled... so I can get used to it, until it does stall anyway.
But so far, so good!

I want to raise it because throttle response/blip is slow until 8 or 900 rpm even with a Throttle controller though the TC does help. Its just mushy coming off of 600. I figured it was tuned like that for better gas mileage.

Mine never wants to stall. Throttle blip is sluggish at 600 rpm.

My first car was all stock and had the typical lazy throttle. This car has a ported OEM throttle body and a tune. Since you mentioned it, the idle has been raised around 700, don't remember exactly what from looking at the tune (725, 750) but it feels amazing and was the first thing I noticed when I test drove it. HPTuner for the win.

This sounds like the solution for OP.
Anyone want to chime in on costs for hardware/software to accomplish this?
I'm guessing this is going to be a bit pricey just to bump the idle rpm, but lots of potential for future mods.

Wait, just saw this is a few months old, and OP is "suspended."
