Where are you located? I'm pulling the LT1 out of my 69 camaro and would be willing to part with it CHEAP. Best to be rebuilt probably (130k miles on it) but as said it will be cheap. Transmission is already sold separately. I have wiring that was modified to be stand alone and a tuned PCM to turn off the usual items.

Northern California.
Shipping would suck. Theres used ones around here. Was thinking brand new for $1500 was a steal. Didn't last long. I figured some one bought one, then decided Ls would be better. Only great for an original Lt car if your keeping it pretty original. Mid 12's and 20mpg all day in my 94 z28. Was gonna sell it, but, seems no one wants it. I love it so I figured I'd keep it now. I hate my long rod noisy forged 383. Loved the stocker.
