I can say from personal experience, 100% wrong. Flooring a M3P at 70mph is like at 10mph as far as Gs, its mind blowing. A guy had to show me this and I drove it and did it.

They also do amazing at autocross, because they aren't the worst ever at turning and in every straight away they make up time that other cars cant match. You still have to turn well and use all the skills, but they do this with acceleration we cant match.

Sure, a stock SS is no match for it, but I'm sure a ZL1 would be much closer especially from 60 to 150. I may have beaten a Model 3 Performance past 60-70 mph relatively easily, and there are many, many Camaros out there with way more power than mine. From a dig indeed there is no comparison no matter what you do in a RWD gas car.

All good, everyone knows EVs have better acceleration in general due to their torque profile, I just don't like to see the "ultimate" adjective thrown around unless we talk about multimillion dollar EVs such as the Rimac Nevera and its ilk.

I have 0 autocross experience, so won't comment on that.
