Exclamation PSA TO ANYONE WHO CUTS OFF THE DOD SOLENOIDS

Gunna start by saying DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID. If you cut off the solenoids it leaves and open port on the oil pressure sensor ( This has nothing to do with the dod block off plugs) You will lose a lot of oil pressure and it will spew oil into you pcv valve and dump ALOT of oil into you intake manifold. Take my word for it and dont make the same mistake as I did!!!!!

No one tells you this and even Texas speed told me it would be ok. Which ITS NOT. Now I'm stuck buying a new valley plate and new head gaskets and bolts because I pulled the heads to diagnose the issue

Do you mean remove all the plastic valving and stuff from the bottom of the factory valley plate / VLOM? Why would you do that anyway and not just rely on the dod plugs?

I mean removing the plastic solenoids but also removing the entire metal bracket and studs so it's a clean plate. You can't do it without issues

Plenty of DOD delete valley covers on the market, not worth the hassle of running without one.
