You have been a wealth of info on the site, good luck going forward.

I will add this. I am 75 and have gone thru many car and motorcycle builds over the years. Looking back it was a lot of fun and sometimes heartache. One thing remains though and that is I wish I had kept a couple. I had a 15' Z/28 built by Vengeance before this one, wish I could have kept both. I am now left with this keeper till the end. Many here sell and then regret selling, I have. I hope you find that keeper but, I know looking for the next one to build is also exciting and that's what life is about.

Thanks Smokin, love your current build. I know it really hauls ass. I'll be here hanging on occasion.

The car arrived via enclosed trailer to the new owner in Tampa Bay Florida. Customer is very happy with the purchase especially now that they realized the Camaro will end production next year. I'm still working on what I'll by next but I'm taking my time looking around. I've been trying to buy a Tahoe for my main daily driver. I drove a bad ass Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with a Hemi. Gas guzzling for sure but man that was a cool ride if you want to buy and 80k Cherokee with air ride. Compared values after 2 years and the Jeep dropped like a rock and the Tahoe held it value very well. They were offering 8k off the Jeep. Not for me but very cool ride.

Can you get the Tahoe in a 6.2? Pretty sure a magnuson 2650 will fit on one too...

Believe only the Denali yukon and the escalades have the 6.2. We picked up a 2015 denali and definetly has some grunt. Throw on an intake and flex sensor, should pick up good midrange and a little up top. Sensor is a very easy addition as they already have the connector under the truck with a dummy plug.

High Country Tahoe has the 6.2. That's Chevy's version of the Denali.

I bought a new Tahoe today with 6.2, it's an RST, performance exhaust and a whole bunch of other options including Mag Ride. I've been trying to buy a Tahoe for months, got this one because I was at the dealership when this one came in, I told them if the deal fell thru I'd buy it. The deal fell thru and I bought it. I paid more for this Tahoe then I did for my first two houses back in the 70s. Unreal and GM sells everyone they make. If you don't get lucky like I did you really can't buy one unless you order it. There are a few used one of the new body style, but not many

Getting a blower or leaving it alone lol…? If you bring it to New England you can line it up against my twin turbo Expedition Limited…

Leaving it alone, we are basically keeping things as they are until spring. I may buy a 17 or 18 Silverado Short bed with 5.3. Probably a Maggie w/TooHighPsi PI. I've already talked with Mike about this so that's the plan for now. I really need a truck to haul if needed, not a race car but just stuff, although there is a whole lot of room in the back of a Tahoe with the seats folded down. There is just stuff you don't want haul in a nice ride like that. Tahoe's are very expensive, it was 10k more than my loaded 2022 3.0 Ltz Silverado.

The Tahoe has Mag Ride and I haven't found a lowering kit yet for that. Not sure what the Camaro guys are doing when they lower theirs with Mag Ride.

Ahhh, good to know. Guess they're throwing them in the newer bodystyle Tahoes. Wasn't shopping newer ones and every Tahoe I looked at, even the ltz's didn't have them.

Enjoy the new ride! I'm sure it rides very nice, especially with the magnaride.

[QUOTE=KingLT1;11361199]High Country Tahoe has the 6.2. That's Chevy's version of the Denali. My sleeper daily is the High Country Chevy CC version. 4x4 6.2/A10 with 2650 and AWE true 3" duals. Chill time with a twist.

I am enjoying the ride so far. Magna RIde
is ok but can't lower it at this point because of that option.
