I'm in the same situation.. my last convertible I bought was in 1989 so I think this one will last me till I'm dead...If I was really looking at resale, I would have purchased a 3yr old one.. however, I'm not a fan of the Gen6 so I figure I'd spend a little more and get a new 2SS that I'll hold on forever...

actually I traded the '11 LT for my silverado. Missed my LT so much I bought another one of those too. The V8 is in the truck. It's heavy and needs one. Not needed or wanted in the camaro. The LFX is just too damn good as it is...
Oh...by the way... I could buy an SS in every color if I wanted to. I don't want one at all. Not five years ago and not now.

Buying a car to make money on the sale is pretty much always a bad idea. I plan on keeping my 2015 until at least 2030, so it really doesn't matter. I got the car I wanted, why sell it?

Took me a while to find the perfect 13 1LE with every option except the one I didn't want. Bought it with a 1,000 miles on it from an even bigger car nut than me. Got an incredible deal on it, not planning on selling it. It could go to 0 for all I care. I have the exact car I want

Just went to a dealer today looking at a 13 Z06 they offered me 18k for my 12 2SS with 14,000 miles. what a joke.
