Memphis Rodders Reunion - Thursday, November 20th
This is not a club event, but for those of you who like drag racing, the Memphis Rodders (some of the guys who actually started Drag Racing in Memphis back in the day) are having their annual Rodders Reunion this Thursday night (Nov. 20th) at Al-Chymia Shriner's Temple at 5:30pm. The event proceeds benefit the Al-Chymia Shriner's burn unit which flies injured children to Shriner's hospitals around the U.S.
If you'd like to hear about the history of Drag Racing in Memphis, seeing some classic cars, enjoying a great meal, and meeting some great/friendly folks, this is an awesome event. Anyone can attend. My grandfather is a member of this group. So proud and honored to meet some of the guys/gals who are responsible for the racing legacy and car culture we have here in the Mid-South. These folks paved the way for us and we're losing them as time marches on. If you'd like more info, shoot me a message.
