I have a manual so not as fast in 1/4 mile as the autos but 2 years ago I couldn’t get below 14.5 at 96.5 and last year I was right at 14 flat at just under 100. I only drag it at camarofest so 1 weekend a year... not the best at launching it. I may have solved some of that this is past weekend. I found a set of SS take offs same as mine and swapped the rears out and got new tires all the way around. Went up to 285s on the rears. That should help. I actually ran the fastest V6 time this past year but lost to an I4 turbo that was running E85 and tune + a few extra lbs of boost. He ran 13.1 13.2 all day.🤷🏻*♂️

1/2 second ET and 3 mph gain just with a tune and CAI isn't too shabby for a V6. I ran mine (bone stock A8) and got 13.8 at 104. This was negative DA and about 55 degrees though.

Nice! No 6th gen autos ever race at CamaroFest. Not sure what the DA was but it’s July in Kentucky so hot and humid! I’m hoping to run a 13.8 this year. All my runs I would spin bad off the line. The 5th gen autos would get the jump but that LGX can real em in by the end.

Yeah I'm sure your DA was fairly high along with that time of year and temps. So you've ran on your stock 20" wheels then? I ran on some stock 5th gen 18" wheels. That setup is about 35 lbs lighter than my stock 20's. No doubt that helped too. Ironically a stock LS1 Camaro ran that same day as well. He ran 13.5 at 104. Made me feel pretty good being right there with a stock LS1. He was a little surprised too when we talked lol

Yep I ran on stock 20's and the original Goodyear run flats. The car is more suited for the road coarse with the M6 and 6 piston Brembos. I was able to hold my own at NCM without getting left behind the pack. And yes these are pretty close to the stock 5th gens.

What was the cost on the labor code? I’m gonna be taking mine to dealer and want to make sure they don’t try to overprice me lol! Thanks.

Keep your stock one, that intake won't do anything for your car.

If you bought the GMPP CAI there is a code on the front of the installation manual, give that to the dealer and the flash won't cost you anything...
