He is right, there is a such thing as factory take off's that go back to the plant, just not on the Camaro or Corvette lines. It is only on the trucks and full size SUV lines that use that process.
Also those take off wheels, they are ugly as sin. They are painted a yellow color to make sure no one tries to take them and use them.
