I want to start a western ny only thread.
Im looking for a set of Junk tires 245/40/20 275/35/20 tires to put on my car for winter storage as my Michelin Pilot Super Sports can't be stored below 20deg. They just need to hold air for a day or so. will consider used take off.

If you want a set of good winter tires, I would advise looking into the Pirelli Scorpions. I use them for my car and they are an amazing tire for the cold weather and work especially well in the snow. Mine usually last 2-3 years at a time for the rears, my fronts are still kicking. Also, to kick off more of this thread, we should get together a group in the area and maybe to a cruise once the weather gets nice again.

Then search tire rack for cheap ones. You can usually find tires for cheap on Craigslist or the Facebook Marketplace.

im looking for stock SS 245 275 take offs. i dont need them for the road i just need them so my car has tires for storage during the winter. MPSS are not supposed to be stored under 20deg. if your getting new tires ill take the old ones. not looking to spend any money. ill pick them up. if they still pass inspection i could give you something for them.

You'll be alright without them, so long as you don't move the car during the winter. Just wanted to put that out there for you, in case it helps save some hassle.

I stored my cars for several winters on "do not store below 20º" tires for years, and they've been fine. The ZL1 1LE especially, since the rubber is far harder than MPSS.
