It's not a matter of simply getting a small enough tube in the port to fill. There is a checkvalve that needs to be depressed. Guys that use the upside down bottle with a hose use a thin screwdriver to depress the valve. Your suction gun won't provide a way to depress the valve.

Buy the DMS tool, or buy an aftermarket expansion tank. Or, buy an expansion tank and replumb the system like I did (DMS also makes adapters to convert the male push fittings on the blower to -12an fittings).
Not using the suction gun to fill anything just to remove excess fluid from bottle after using the tool.
The tool depresses the check valve.

From Dedicated Motorsports

LT4 SC Coolant Filler Adapter Tool

Lets face it, the coolant filling system found on the LT4 supercharged Camaro ZL1 and CTS-V can be a real pain in the butt to fill. Over the years we've tried a number of different solutions but none of them did the job without some pitfalls. DMS recently designed a 3D printed adapter that makes a water tight seal on the filler fitting while depressing the check valve allowing the use of a very common soda or water bottle to act as a "funnel". The threads are the same as many drink bottles like Coke, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Smart Water and many more. This makes the tool small and easy to keep in the car for those unexpected cooling system filling needs.

Fits:
2016-2019 CTS-V
2017-2019 Camaro ZL1
2016-2019 ATS-V
List Price: $14.99

How would one know the supercharger coolant has air in it other than power loss? My car is weird. Some days it's fast as hell, others it feels sluggish. Is this something I can ask the dealer to do?

No way to really tell other than what you described. The dealer can do it but it's cheaper and faster to do the same thing the OP is doing or just buy a reservoir and never deal with this issue again.

I have the ADM which is mounted higher but doesn't absolutely need to be, the Cordes will also work. I have an Elite catch can mounted in front so ADM made sense

I had the ADM, but then got rid of it and went with Cordes. I did not like the ADM for the mounting (kept coming loose, is not strong enough in my view) and the position (lots of heat above the headers).

What was coming loose? The nut attaching to the firewall? Just go nyloc, problem solved. The weight is next to nothing.

As far as heat, the reservoir barely gets hot. Even after a hard run on a summer night I can put my hand on it - not worried. Having an oil catch can there is also a risk

So I was looking to see if there was an aluminum reservoir that can be installed over the headers snice i will be adding an Elite ultra can in the front. Not to worried about the heat over the headers as im getting ARH headers and sending them to Swaintech.

Has anyone tried the tank in the link below?

300 dollars vs what 40 bucks sounds like a good option. i mean who is continuously pulling off their supercharger where it needs to be bled that much. For a use every once in a while type deal i think this is prob a better idea.. just my opinion

Plus no problems with the dealer if warranty work is needed.
