We do a lot. Be careful on piston to valve clearance depending on cam. You will lose a little over .010 clearance.

you know what, Rick Crawford created a mean street/strip proven setup for the G8 guys that consists of stock LS3 heads ported and milled to 64cc on 6.0 blocks with a cometic 0.040 gasket with what they call a "little lunati" cam (223 intake duration) and a stock intake manifold with the rod mod like the one GPI does and those fellas are running low 11's/high 10s with a stock 3.27 or 3.45 out of a 5th Gen camaro with a very streetable heavy (but fast) NA car. Its good stuff!

Yep, that is kid of what I am modeling my engine after. I am doing Street Smart ported heads from Land Speed Cylinder Head Development, GPI fully ported and rod mod intake (same as RCR intake) and a small 225/236 duration cam. Should be a great street set up but time will tell, hoping to button this thing up in the next month.Name: 20180228_110507.jpg

Cool, I ended up getting a 0.045 gasket so I should be right around 11:1 compression wth 0.038 quench height.

It was hard to resist getting the intake runners fully ported but everytime I saw dyno data from his heads it really worked and from your results I would say that holds true. Most of the flow increase happens right under the valve.
