ZL1 battles Ferrari 488,Nissan GTR,Corvette Z06,CTSV,and Boss 302 with wife in car
What a rush !! Took the wife out for a few sessions at Wild Horse Pass in AZ. We had an amazing time laughing, talking crap, and woohooing !! My wife was scared but handled it like a champ ! So much fun to share what you love with who you love! Also felt great to know I can keep up with some of the fastest cars in the world on track....and with my wife screaming and laughing. Driving skill has moved up a bit and the ZL1 is just the platform to let me get to that more advanced point.

What a blast! The banter was comedy! And what an ass hole the 488 guy was on track.....holding you up an entire lap, only to slightly gap you on the straight....using his hazards etc. Bad track etiquette.

Good stuff.
Lots of people like to hate on exotics at the track day and brag about passing them when the reality is, they're usually faster cars. The problem is either that the driver is an older guy who doesn't have the reflexes or will to push it to its limits, or they know they're driving a $250,000+ car and they want to drive it home at the end of the day with limited damage/wear and tear. The 488 would beat the ZL1 on most tracks if both cars had equal drivers. It won best drivers car 2017 for a reason.

Great vids, but why does everyone with the A10 always drive manually. I was wanting to see how the performance mode worked on the tranny. I have only seen the Ring video GM posted. I haven't made it out to a track yet to try it, but I have used it on the streets.

Oh after watching the video my wife and noticed the Ferrari was flagged 3 times for holding me up . one of the spotters came up to me after the session and told me I was driving the wheels off the ZL1 and payed me the very cool compliment in front of my wife. Man it was a great day. Thanks for watching guys.
