Obligatory feel bad for me thread
Hello Everyone, been on here awhile but not too active. Wanted to share my misery with everyone.
Last Tuesday I was driving down the road and someone pulled out in front of me and boom! Obviously I am heartbroken, and a week in I have let go of the anger. So now the waiting game of estimates and insurance fun. Looking into diminished value claims as well. At least she was clean when the accident happened! |

Sorry that happened. I've been there.
My advice is to push for them to total the car, so you can get a new one and move on. Otherwise it'll be dragged out for months, and in the end the car will never be 100%. |

Sorry for your loss
The airbox is pushed and popped, so there’s a lot of under hood damage. Likely totalled.

Seeing how these cars dont have frames with them being unibody and all, i would bet that the body is out. That doesnt scare insurance companies away from fixing a car like it used too. Hopfully it is totaled ,but with what a car like cost it may not be. Ive been down that road. It is no fun, and they are never right again. We traded one in while it was still on the lift from a crash. The repair went on for four months, and when we got the car back, it was still screwed up. We took it back and three days later we traded to the GM dealer that was working on it.

Wow that hurts so bad! I was tore up about a bent fender when someone backed into mine, so I can imagine how you're feeling. The most important thing is that everyone is ok. It could of been way worse. I know that doesn't help the hurt much, but it's true. Really hope things work out good for you.
