I am not sure who is more butthurt - Mustang owners or Z28 owners. Get over it - the bar has been raised. It is a great time to be a car lover.

Def Mustang owners. They are now saying the times are completely faked. It was a ringer and this particular car had on a different set of heat set in tires. The excuses are comical.

The drones over on the Mustang forums still think the Mustang GT. Yes, the Mustang GT is a better overall car than the Z06. So, needless to say, they think the GT350 and R is waaaaaaaaaaaay above the Zl1. Considering, to them, the Zl1 is fake. Times are fake. It's all a conspiracy by GM to produce a car, then fake all claims to push sales. smh.

The exact test car that did the Ring time is at SEMA this week. Neat display with an LCD showing the video of the test as above link the OP posted. Cool

The truly amazing part is that they did it with the new A10 trans just by putting it in performance mode and driving it.

Thought it would be a little faster to be honest. If you watch some of the other cars ring hero laps back to back, seems like the guy driving the camaro is not going as balls out as some of the other drivers. I think that time could be beat.

If you want to see an interesting video of the difference with an insanely fast car, watch the zl1 video, then watch the lambo aventador sv video. That thing is crazy.

Compared to a Lambo Aventador?? I would certainly hope a 400k car is much faster than a 60k car. Lol Show me a 60k car that can do that lap time. Then we can talk.

Yea, 30 seconds over 13 miles is the difference between crazy fast and underachieving. You need to recalibrate your speedo.
