Put about an inch long gouge in the rear left wheel's lip. That "clink" noise you hear when the rim touches the curb...

They look different in pics depending on the light.

Regardless, they are awesome and I need to order some pronto! All SS at least should come with them.

I would call them slightly smoked in appearance. It made a big difference to the look of the wife's car. The nice thing about these though is that while you have the appearance of smoked lights there is no reduction in output when they light up.

The bowtie was off of a Chevy Colorado that was just sitting on the shelf. I cut off the tabs and used double side tape.

Thanks!

Do you mind sharing where you purchased them? Did you get the tails and center light as a package?

I agree with one exception: vehicles painted Silver Ice Metallic. I installed the ZL1 1LE taillights and third brake light two weeks ago, and I'm reinstalling the factory units because there just isn't enough contrast between the body color and lights. Just my opinion . . .

The housing is black inside, the outside is clear. So they give that smoked or dark look while, as someone has already stated, they don't reduced light output. They look even better with an LED reverse light kit

Will hopefully be looking to install the Sema lower grille on my baby this weekend. Will start doing some of the prep today when I get home.

Did the same thing to my son's 20" gray RS wheel (right rear - about 2 1/2 inches, starts with light scratch and ends in a v shaped chip), as I exited the bank drive thru concrete island and turned right too quickly. Made me sick, he handled well. My friend and local body man says he can repair like new, but he has been covered up this summer. Maybe soon.

Maybe he will keep small birds off your mirrors. I had to buy a plastic standing owl to keep a cardinal off my son's Camaro mirrors in our attached carport. It has worked 100%. He fights himself in the mirrors and then craps down the side. Have put shop rags over mirrors of our other three vehicles. Works well on vette next to his car. Not as well on Impala and pickup behind them. Our lot is heavily wooded. ( I assume the "falcon" you pictured is there to keep other birds off the lights of the power pole). Good place to park.

Got ours from someone on here, all three lights together. You can find them for a reasonable price new if you shop around.

Got hard water spots off windows (last nite's wash) with 409 & scrubbing, then Windex to remove 409 streaks.
