***FOLLOW UP***

I have been asked in the past about how I'm running the deep concave Ferrada Wheels. The 20x11.5 Ferrada's have a very aggressive offset. You can go back a few pages to see the posts and responses. Here is an update.

I switched to Nitto Invo tires about two months ago.

F - 285/30/20
R - 305/25/20

Absolutely no rubbing at any time. Even with three people in the car. There is more wheel well gap in the rear but I no longer have to be mindful of my speed in heavily bumpy areas. Also, the Nitto Invo's are better tires than the Goodyear Eagle F3's. More grip and noticeably more nimble. But they cost more as well.

The issue with the rubbing with the Goodyears is how wide the sidewall is. It hangs slightly over the rim. Any 305/30/20 with a sidewall "thinner" than the Goodyears should work on the Ferrada rims with very little rubbing if any at all, even with a dropped suspension.

Have only had her about a month, and by far the best driving car I've owned.

My understanding is that a Camaro SS or even an LT1 has the same sized rear wheel well as a ZL1 1LE, and that car runs 12" wheels in the back. I understand moving the wiring harness on the SS cars, is there any other reason nobody runs a 12" wheel with a 325 in the back on the SS cars? Seems like it could be done fairly easy if you don't mind a little poke like a factory ZL1 1LE (assuming the same offset is factory)? I'm picking up a new LT1 on Tuesday and want to do some stance wheels , 20x12 with a 335/30/ Michelin pilot super sport running negative camber.

The ZL1 1LE has 19" wheels, that's how those meaty 325s fit easily in the wheel well.

335/30 on a 20x12 wheel will be 1" taller and very wide, that one I haven't tried, but I run 315/30s on a 20x11 wheel and it's not exactly a spacious fit, a 335 on a 20x12 wheel will probably be a crapshoot in terms of fitment (without spacers, that is).

This being an LT1, has a 245/40/20 that's 27.7" tall. The 335/30/20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport is 28", so very close to stock. Being that the rear fender wells are as wide as on a ZL1 1LE, I dont know why a 20x12 in factory 1LE offsets wouldn't work. Run a little negative camber to tuck them in a little.

Ive seen a couple of guys on here run this exact tire on a factory 20x11 SS Wheel and not have any issues (Although this tires minimum spec is a 11.5" wide wheel), so I could also get some 20x11 stance wheels in the SS 1LE offset and cram them on their. I may try the 12" wide wheel and test my hypothesis out!

9six9 wheels in carbon grey i went with 19x10 285/35/19 with 5mm spacers all around front is perfect. Back needs a little push out but i noticed you have to cut the oem studs to put anything over 10mm spacer because the stock studs poke out in a spikish way. Not even the hole on the back of the rim clears it. Im just too lazy to take out my grinder.

I completely hear you about taking out the grinder. I finally caved since I really wanted a better look and can't afford new wheels/tires right now. I put 25mm (1") spacers on all fours with my stock 1LT 18" wheels. In my opinion, the stance looks way better now. Amazing what 1" will do (there's a joke in there somewhere...).
First car pic below is the before stock setup.
