The Bulliitt version is 480hp, so likely just a couple years and the GT will have that standard.
The 2.7 turbo from the Silverado is intended/designed solely for truck duty, it would be terrible in this car. Even the normal turbo 4 is only 275 hp, way behind everyone else. New Mustang 4cyl is 330hp, Ford Focus RS 350hp, even the new Ranger is 270hp. Mercedes CLA45/GLA45 AMG turbo 4's are currently 375 hp and the new 2020's will be 420hp. VW is speculated to have a 300+ Golf R soon (a 400hp "concept" car was shown just a couple years ago). Volvo S60 Polestar is 360hp. Honda Civic Type R is 306hp. I think there is a lot of powertrain competition between a T4 and V6. I don't believe the next Gen will still have both.

Bigger windows with lower door lines to rest your arm on it, less of that small cabin feel.
How about a targa top? Of course more power, can’t make less than the “small” 5.0 rival.
Maybe more appearance options like the challenger has available.
Other than that I’m loving my 1le.

Need to wait for Mustang to top 465hp. But I;m hearing the 5.0 is nearing the limit of it capability of HP unless they go forced air. My understanding is the 6.2 has much more juice left before forced air. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think Chevy will focus much on the 4 banger. I think the 6 is selling more than the 4. And the performance crowd will go V8 anyway. Mustang dumped their V6 thats why they are pushing the 4 banger. Plus all thos little turbo 4 bangers they are pushing are not getting much more gas mileage than our 455hp V8s. 4 bangers are for rollerskate type PODS not Mustangs or Camaros.

310hp and 348tq doesn't sound like vomit at all. Sounds like an Ecoboost killer in a Camaro.

Also, make blind spot monitoring standard across all trims or engines, or at least make them and almost all the safety features available for all of the trims.
The Corvette's four main trim levels are the Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06, and the ZR1. The three former trims each have three sub-trims, and the latter has two.

So actually 7 is not that bad compared to the corvette with even more.

How is 310hp and 348tq killing a 330hp and 350tq ecoboost?

Things that I'd like to see in 2020 that are possible without a major upgrade:
  • PDR available on more trim levels, especially SS and all 1LE cars, including 4-cylinder
  • Drag Mode
  • Valet Mode that cuts engine power (read a thread today about dealer tech joy-rides)
  • Mini-spare option for cars with runflats (says the guy who just had 5th tire replaced)
  • Electronic lock instead of key lock for the glovebox
  • Adaptive Cruise Control. There should be a way to integrate it into the black bar that cuts across the grill

Adding the 2.7T to Camaro is in my opinion more likely than not. The current 2.0T is related to the 2.0T that is in Equinox / Terrain. That engine is likely going away soon in favor of a family of engines that has started rolling out with the 2.0T in the Cadillac XT4 and soon in the GMC Acadia. The 2.7T in the pickup trucks is from the same family of engines that produces the XT4 2.0T. It will also deliver a 2.0T to the new Cadillac CT5 as a base engine. That 2.0T is rated at 235 hp.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the output. It can be tuned, within reason, to whatever GM wants it to be tuned at. Depending on whether they want to bias it for performance or for fuel economy or sort of as a tweener. Example.....The CT6 has a 3.0TT rated at 404 hp. The CT5 was just introduced with a 3.0TT rated at 335 hp. They're the same basic engine with a 69 hp difference. Why? I do not know and I will continue to scratch my head over that, at least until Cadillac announces a "performance" version of CT5 with 400 hp. Sorta like BMW and Mercedes both offer different power levels of the same displacement engine. So, point is, GM could easily (imho) offer a 2.7T for Camaro with more than the 310 hp that it is rated at in the pickups. Thing is, I don't see that happening before Camaro 7.

Ford is offering two power levels of the 2.3T (310 & 330) as well as two power levels of the 5.0L (460 & 480), so it would not be out of place for GM to do the same. Probably with more than a 20 hp spread.

Hugger Orange has already been brought back. Crush = Hugger

Put the rear view mirror camera in the shark fin so the 1LE models can have it and it also gets the camera closer to the driver.

In addition to the SS Front end, the LT also need revisions. Ditch the flat black plastic on top of the bumper. The sun will ruin it in a few yrs. Now onto the back, recess the tail lights, and that can be done if not so 3D.
