Does this side profile picture look like ATS with different bumpers to anyone else?

Is it just me or does it look like a Dodge Charger from the side/rear?

It does! I really hope it turns out nice. I'm deciding between this car and a Challenger for my next vehicle. This car will be lighter, meaning it will probably have a better power to weight ratio and get better MPG doing it. However, the size of the Challenger is a positive in my eyes as someone that would be using the vehicle as a daily driver.

For me it really comes down to the interior. I wanted to buy a 5th gen, but instantly walked out of the dealership when I saw how cheap the interior was. Full disclosure, it was pre-2013 when the interior was upgraded a bit. Dodge set the bar pretty high in terms of interior, so hopefully the Camaro delivers.

If it doesn't, maybe a Corvette is in my future.

You make a good point. Definite similarities.

I'm good with my ZL1 and by the time they come out with a like car in that category in about 2-4 years, then I will add the 6th gen to the collection.

This maybe a bit selfish, but I for one am glad there isn't that much of a change cosmetically. Will see what GM has done with the interior...

Love the way people say "I don't see much difference" No car company makes an entire new car when they have success. The BMW 3 series has been a series of evolutions over the past 15 plus years. The 911 has been an evolution design for decades!!!

I'm waiting to see this car before I drop anymore money in my 2011. If its to small and I can't fit 4 people in it I will be keeping mine. I realy don't think it will weigh less then 100lbs to 200lbs but it will loose a lot of interior space. To me the technology is what will suck me in,I'm not impressed with the look of the car so far. Just looks like a smaller version of a gen5 it should be called a gen5 1/2. Has anyone sat inside the new mustang very nice inside best interior yet just small as hell hated it for that reason only.[/QUOTE]

it has definitely taken on the 2+2 look by looking at the exterior. unlike the 5th gen im sure it will have more rear seat space. just something about this car that does not do it for me. I believe I will pass on the 6th gen at this point.

Huh? There must have been some subtle styling changes. I could have sworn they've used the exact same design since 1963.

It doesn't turn me on so far...no sharp lines, it seems they have blend the hood lines. Too similar of the 5th Gen but only smaller. I love big cars.

I get it. I love big cars too. The problem with the Camaro is that its a huge car that's cramped on the inside. If the car is going to be big, it needs to be unapologetically so, which I think the Challenger does best.

Since we know Chevy won't do that, hope that the new Camaro didn't shrink much on the inside despite shrinking a decent amount overall.

I think I've got my hopes set too high for the new Camaro. Then again, if its the 5th gen with a better interior, 8-speed auto, LT1, and different tail lights, then it will be pretty much exactly what I wanted. Hopefully the MPGs seen by Corvette owners don't drop too much due to the Camaro's weight and increased drag.

Yea, I'd pick a challenger in a heartbeat over this Car if its the 6th Gen!

The 15 mustang interior material is nicer than the 5th Gen Camaro but not the interior design!
