So I just installed the AWE Touring Edition with Cat back and I'm so happy with the results. For me getting the OEM exhaust out was primary, the AWE Touring Edition with Cat back sounds awesome especially at the track, it looks better from the rear and especially when on the lift and actually gaining +11 on the dyno (before and after) is why this was needed. The quality of workmanship is awesome as not only does it looks good but it installed with ease like OEM (took about 2.5 hours). Very happy with the choice, now my radio in my 18 SS 1LE doesn't sound so bad!

So you dynoed the car, pulled it off of the dyno and put the catback on and then dynoed again on the same day? If so 11 rwhp isn't a bad pick up at all.

Glad you're happy. And FWIW, our testing rendered +12 hp and +4 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels so you're in the same park on whichever dyno was used.

Thinking of replacing an axle back Borla Atak with a cat back AWE Touring. Anyone have direct experience with the sound levels between the two? Debating on wether to get the resonated or non-resonated version, and would like to keep the sound level about the same. Would be doing it for the tone and removal of NPP valves (they rattle on the Borla so the touring mode is useless unless you don’t it sounding like crap). Any added performance would be a nice bonus.
