Aftermarket Exhaust 2019 SS

Hey guys, i'm in the market for aftermarket exhausts for my 2019 SS 1LE. For those of you that own a 2019 SS, you notice the crazy pops and crackles with the dual mode NPP exhaust? My concern here is.. if I get any axle back exhaust... obviously the car will be louder BUT will some of these aftermarket exhausts reduce/remove the pops/crackles or the pops/crackles have nothing to do with the pipes? Anyone know for certain?

My goal here is to get a louder axle back exhaust and fully keep the pops/crackles that comes standard with the 2019 SS.

Also, which exhaust do you guys like the most and why? Cat back and axle back suggestions both welcome. Let me know what exhaust you got and please describe the tone to me! NPP option preferred on the aftermarket because California lol.

I want to go for the Borla ATAK axle back but tbh it's really pricey, about 1.7-1.8k after tax. I saw and heard clips of the Flowmaster American Thunder and it seemed decent. That one is about 1.1 - 1.2K which is nice. I wish there was a row of Camaros in front of me so that I can hear the exhausts in person to choose which one I like the most

Have a nice day.

I just watched some clips on the axle back and it sounds good!!! Man, i've been looking around online for a few days and I don't think I ran into this one, thank you for the suggestion.

Seems like a deep a throaty sound, just the axleback...which is what I am looking for.

You are only going to lose the crackles and pops if you go with a more restrictive or muffled exhaust, which isn't possible. Almost every exhaust increases the loudness of the pops.

MBRP Race Axleback 7:03 minutes in and they make it pop.

I am subscribed to Riley I really liked the sound of that one in the video only problem is it's not NPP. Also, thank you for the info and the suggestion

(2019 SS cracks and pops like a MF stock!)

He's awesome, guess I missed the NPP part!

Yeah my 17 crackles and pops a lot to in race mode, but I have the valve clicking problem so I'm doing away with NPP.

Damn, man. that valve problem i'm hearing about lately weirds me out... if that valve problem happens on an aftermarket exhaust i'm not sure how to go about it, i don't think it would be fixed via chevrolet warranty

If i were to buy an aftermarket NPP axle back and I end up getting that issue with the valves.. I wonder if I'd be able to remove the NPP option from the exhaust? or am I screwed and i'd have to buy another exhaust without the NPP option.. no idea

Yeah man it sucks, it sounds like a rattlesnake in my passenger side trunk. Sometimes it buzzes too, or hums, really weird. And the dealer fix doesn't work. Mine started at around 10k miles and I have 11.5k miles and I can't deal with it anymore. I just haven't had time to get to my buddies to install the axleback yet.

It would definitely void the warranty for the valves.

I wouldn't worry about the rattle. You paid for the option, enjoy it. I bought mine used so I didn't pay for it, so it's easy for me to just hack em off.

You wouldn't lose the crackles. GM tunes the car a little differently when you opt for the NPP. You might notice louder crackles if anything.

I have the Borla Atak NPP axle back and it is sweet, sweet, sweet music!! Crackles and pops just as much as stock, but louder! I have my valves set to open all the time. This system comes with valves, but yes it is pricey at 1700.00....worth every penny IMO...Phastek is where I ordered it from. Good luck!
