Took a shot at repairing my wheels myself

A little over 3 weeks ago a dumbass ran me into the curb. It happened really quick, it was either get hit or evade into the curb. Either way after, calling a few run repair shops and not getting what I wanted to hear... Mainly a call back, I decided to repair then myself.
My wife was the one who pushed me to give it a shot, so I did.
I dismounted the right front tire and moved it to the left because the lip of the tire was chewed up. I busted the tire off the rim lip (we have a tire machine a work) had at it.
If I was to do the again I would have left the tires off the rim until I was done.
I tried liquid steel to fill in the damage at first Android although it worked, it was a pain to get a uniform fill, and a pain to sand.
I looked around the internet at what others had used and found glazing and spot puddy.

The glazing and spot puddy worked great. Dried quick and sanded easy. On the ZL1/1LE rims it was easy to block sand, but there is a lot of contouring between spokes. I just took my time and worked the detailed parts by hand. Then I used filler primer to get the fine stuff. After priming and standing 3 times I was happy and hit it with color.

For the black paint I used duplicolor HPW104. It's a close enough match. I didn't clear the wheel after painting, well see how it lasts. Looks really close to factory.
If the paint wears poorly, I'm going to paint them all in a satin plane propeller epoxy.

Either way I'm glad I tried this, they came out great in my opinion.

They came from the factory that way,I think it's part of the 1LE package.

Looks fantastic. I really wanted that style of rim but couldn’t find what I thought was worth the price so I redid mine too. When I bought this the rims were curb checked. I took them to a powder coater. Told them I didn’t want black l, didn’t want silver and didn’t want chrome but I did want them cleared. Wanted gun metal or something close. Well, I got flat silver with no clear Couldn’t stand it so I did it myself. At least they don’t look like plastic anymore.
