Borla ATAK vs SW Retro Chambered
Hi guys my last decision is about these two exhaust.
I prefere louder systems . I think that borla atak is more louder than stainless works retro chambered catback . But I would like also buy a Cold Air Inductions - 6.2L Camaro Intake. What do you recommend. ? Borla Atak + CAI or SW Retro Chambered + CAI Because Borla is more $$$ My car > 2012 . 45th edition , 6,2 V8 Thank you all .)) |

The Retro Chambered cat back is louder than the Borla ATAK and has a deeper tone. If it were my car I would go with the Retro Chambered and CAI intake. When we filmed ATAK and Retro Chambered videos back to back and at the sound levels we used for the ATAK the Retro Chambered peaked out the sound equipment. It was such a significant difference that if you listen to the videos you could get the impression that the reverse was true but it was because the sensitivity of the recording equipment had to be turned down so much.

I can only comment on the SW Retro-Chambered. Bought it about a year ago from Apex and couldn't be happier. Installed it myself. Took my time everything lined up perfect. Fit and finish is great. No squeaks, no rattles, etc. Started it up and had just the right tone. Sounds great when you get on it and best of all no drone that you here about from other exhausts. Another vote for Retro Chambered!!

SW Retro Chambered catback is by far my favorite exhaust. Loud and has a nice deep tone. I also purchased mine from Chase at Apex.

I have a 2012 2SS L99 with ARH to Borla ATAK and my car is friggin LOUD! Almost to the point where I might try and tone it down a bit with a different axle back system. I also have the CAI as well....
