Car pulling left when accelerating??

So if I’m around 100km/h and hit the gas even in 6th it’ll pull to the left and almost feels like maybe the rear is kicking out right, it doesn’t only do it at this speed but using it as a example, any somewhat hard acceleration it’s doing it. It’s new PS4S tires, and alignment. Wondering if maybe wheel weight has fallen off or another issue? I’ve had the “bong” noise from my front left a few times when turning and going over a bump.

Check tire pressures, then rear alignment. A small difference in rear toe side-to-side will definitely cause the tail to move around under acceleration. There have been some cases of tire problems, but that’s rare.

It seems to be related to alignment. Also, try turning off traction control. That often helps.

The fronts I got were like 03/20 but the rears were 26/18.. wondering the rears are just shit because they’re so dated and maybe just hard and kicking out, alignment was done same day as new tires went on.

Alignment, and guess what! all rear 4 bolts should be replaced.

How confident are you in your alignment settings? I found it really tricky to get the rear toe right. It’s extremely sensitive to minute adjustments. A lot of shops won’t (can’t and make any money) take the time required to get it right. As delivered, my rear toe was 0 on left, and 0.1 deg on the right. Not a big difference, but enough to cause noticeable rear steer under hard acceleration.

As long as both rear tires are similar in age, I don’t think that would be an issue. Overall grip might suffer a bit with old rubber (especially if you are running 3Rs), but I wouldn’t expect to see a steering effect. My bet is still alignment.

Mid-2018 isn't too old for a tire if warehoused properly. I also think you probably have an alignment issue.

I’m running stock sizes of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, it didn’t do it with the 3Rs but maybe the bolts have loosened or something on the alignment because it was done and I don’t remember it doing it before this badly.

I am having the same issue after having the track alignment done by a dealership. Took them 2 times to half get it right. I believe mine is only an alignment problem though. I am looking for another shop to do it and see if the problem is the same.

I did take out a straight edge and measure toe the old dirt track car way and I do have a toe-in problem it appears.

I happened to re use my bolts, as many people on here have done and said they’re fine but maybe mine have loosened.

I gave up on shop alignments years ago. The last straw was when I had to get under the car to show the tech how to adjust camber after they insisted it was not adjustable. Strictly DIY now. It can be VERY time consuming, but at least I’m confident in the result. My time is cheap now.....
