I ran the Strano front bar on my 2016 Camaro SS for years without issue. It's a bit stiffer than the FE4 bar, even on its softest setting.

Here's my fastest run on Sunday at the Packwood tour. It was the top time for Super Street, but I lost by 0.035sec on cumulative time because of the hole I dug for myself on Saturday.

My fastest runs from the Packwood ProSolo, they just happened to be back-to-back and I forgot to stop the camera between runs so they are contiguous. It gives a sense for how the ProSolo format works for people who have never driven one.

Nice! My best result has been 2nd in BS this year, on a longer course with a little more speed involved. I'm a novice, so I'm very happy with that, and have lots of room for improvement. Nice to beat multiple Caymans, a M2 Comp and RS3.

Last race there was a new TT-S that dominated BS. The start was an immediate 90 degree turn, that car was using launch control at 5000 rpms, it just goes right through the turn floored with it's awd... it's pretty impressive. He got top 10 PAX, would have won AS and came a few tenths from a GT3 in SS and from the winner of STU!

Dove deeper into PDR data today. The Cosworth Pi toolbox seems really powerful/cool. Before I got the car I thought PDR was a badly placed gopro with only basic data, but in reality I just needed a tool to pull out all of the functionality.

A sample of data you can pull:

I had a C7 before my SS and if the system didn’t detect a signal from TPS it was nessasary to push the SEL button on the steering wheel before turning off active handling or nannies would come on during the run. I assume the Camaro would be the same. I have learned my lesson and pushed the SEL button if TPMS notification is on so can’t say for sure if both cars do that.

This event was just a test and tune and times weren't being recorded, so no real comparison can be made as regards to time. The car overall seems pretty neutral, now that I'm getting comfortable in the car I think some time can be found by increasing rear tire pressure and inducing a bit of rotation. I ran some data through Track Addict and HPTuners and was seeing a pretty consistent 1.2-1.3 Gs. There were some higher spikes of 1.5, but I account those to bumps on the course.

Consensus on toe settings?

GM Track alignment guide seems to indicate toe in (positive), yet appears most run toe out (negative) ?

I just wore through inside shoulder of my 3R's with most of that being zero toe, last event at just a hair positive (0.05* per side).

Just "discovered" this section lol. I race a 5th gen Z/28 in autocross. Always enjoy the vids! I had a knock down drag out battle with James Bishir in a 6th gen 1LE at the Optima DriveAutoX event at UMI a few months ago. He's done a few Solo Pro's. Maybe you guys know of him?
