VMS wheel question

Does anyone run VMS drag pack wheels on their camaro? I just ordered a rear set (17 x 10), and I was told I need to get a specific type of lug nuts. Does anyone have any recommendations/ part number on what I should get? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I use Gorilla Automotive 45048BC-20 with my Apex wheels. Specifically like them because they're forged so they handle the 140 ft-lb lug nut torque being applied with frequent wheel swaps better than other materials. I assume you need different lug nuts due to OE being too large in diameter?

Correct, I guess these wheels require a conical lug nut. This is my first time owning a drag wheel, so I want to make sure I get everything I need. Not sure it I should just search " camaro conical lug nut" to buy, or if these particular wheels ( VMS WHEEL # VWST015)need a certain lug nut. Just a little confused... lol

Gotcha. Mentioning "conical lug nut" I'd assume they're just specifying the type of seat you need as opposed to spherical or flat. If you want to confirm taper you could probably reach out to VMS to confirm, but the 60° taper is pretty much standard for aftermarket wheels nowadays.

For finding lug nuts, just search for "14x1.5 conical lug nut" and you'll find plenty to choose from. I do still strongly suggest getting a set of forged steel lug nuts if you plan on swapping wheels frequently though. They'll last better over time than steel ones that aren't forged or forged aluminum.
