Base MF went up from .00119 to .00131 and I believe the residual stayed the same. GM really doesn't care to move these for some reason. 58% residual at 36/10k and 57% residual at 39/10k

I'm here wondering what voodoo business practice is GM following because it defies all logic. The inventory of 2017 Camaros, especially the SS trims, is not moving and just when you think that the deals can't get any worse, GM goes out of their way to slash incentives and mess up the MF and residuals.

I've been tracking the 2SS inventory of two local Chevy dealerships since February 2017 and they have only sold two cars! No, I didn't make that up! They only sold two Fifty Editions.

I test drove a black 2SS back in December 2016 and they still haven't sold that car! It's still sitting in their lot collecting dust. In February, I test drove a Fifty Edition that was already marked down to $44,999 and it finally sold a couple of days ago after dropping the price to $42,999 (MSRP $48,480).

I know this is crazy speculation

but maybe GM is planning on killing off the Camaro so they have zero concern in regards to stale inventory. They'd rather squeeze every cent out of every car, even if it takes 6 months per unit to leave the lot. Which may also be the reason why they didn't bother to fix the visibility issues that everyone complains about and in turn put it on an amazing platform with an amazing engine, sort of like - hey, let's at least let it go out with a bang

Yeah I don't understand it either. My dealer said they only have $1k in incentives on top of supplier for a lease also. They quoted me over $600 for 39/10k which is insane. I was thinking of trading in for a 1LE but st those prices I'll pass and keep my 2016.

Ok my deal was finalized today. Total $3,500. This includes $2,000 loyalty + $1,000 cash back + $500 insurance discount.

Incentives are different for each dealer, I have two dealers in my town, they split the incentives, one has them half the month, then the other.

Don't like the fact different parts of the country get different discounts. What insurance discount is that?

I just talked to both of the chevy dealers in my area today and both of them told me there are no incentives for the 2017 camaro. The only incentive that can go towards the camaro is the loyalty discount ($1500 off)??? Has anyone else been told this?
