Thanks, I really hated losing my 2016 that way, but I guess it all worked out great. now my 2019 is more modded than the 2016 was...LOL

I ran over a dead something in the middle of the hwy the other morning on the way to work. (the only day that week that I planned on driving my car instead of my truck) It strangely only did damage to the rear diffuser. It didnt hurt the front of the car at all.

It ripped the ZL1 addons diffuser fins completely off the car, which in turn ripped holes in the rear diffuser fronm the mounting points.

I had already ordered some exhaust tips to convert my factory dual exhaust to quad tip. And was about to order a new quad style diffuser anyway. So I guess the dead thing just moved my time line up sooner...LOL

I think your last one looked best after the wrap but before the rest of the mods. A little over the top for my tastes and if you were to get in an accident or something happened (similar to your case), wouldn't most of the money spent on those mods be a waste? Nice looking cars none the less.

I had extra insurance coverage for the modifications, but it worked out that I was able to actually remove all the custom parts off the 2016 and put the stock parts back on it. So I didnt lose any of the money I spent on the parts since I still have them and put them on the 2019.

Honestly its a little over the top for my tastes also, I usually build the crap out of the engine (700-800 hp) with a lot of chrome and paint and keep the outside of the car more sleek and clean,(see the link in my signature for the 2010 Camaro I built that was featured in magazines and won tons of car shows) but I drive close to a 100 miles a day now..so its more important to keep my engine stock for warranty purposes, so I express my creativity on the outside more than the engine now.

Finally made the jump from dual tip exhaust to quad tips.

Akropovic red tinted Carbon Fiber quad tips and AMPP rear diffuser in gloss black installed this weekend.
I think the rear of my car really looks aggressive now!
I need to adjust the tips in about an 3/4" to 1" more then tack weld them on this weekend (they are just clamped on for now)
It took some surgical cuts with the cut off wheel to remove the factory tips without damaging the pipes, but it wasnt too hard.

Thinking about wrapping part of the diffuser to match the rest of the car, just have to think on it for a few days and decide exactly what parts to wrap and what to leave gloss black.

Please excuse the car for being so dirty, havent had time to clean and it keeps raining here.

Your wrap job is impressive in quality and choice of color--so many wraps are garish but your gun metal/anthracite gray is sleek yet conveys some mean element too. Where did you pick up that skill? Typically to get a wrap job done correctly you have to use professionals and they are pricey.

Being a fan of MRR rims for 6th gen, I think the 228 style is a winner -- very Z28ish in style. They would be my 2nd choice after 017 1LE style rims in gloss black. But I wanted a classic look that aligned with my car's Mosaic black. If my car was wrapped like yours then I would shamelessly copy your wheel style/color choice.

I have always been a "do it yourself" type of guy. And I will usually try a task many times until I either get it right... or finally realize that I just cant do it and let a professional handle it. But most things car related I usually figure it out.

I tried wrapping my truck about 8 years ago and it was a total fail. So when i got my 2016 Camaro I didnt even try it. Just had it done professionally.

My finances are not as "healthy" now as they were when I got my 2016 Camaro, so I knew that it would have to be done by me or not at all.

I watched 100's of hours of Youtube videos on wrapping cars and decided to try to do it myself. Luckily I was able to struggle through it..LOL

I spent a lot of time looking at wrap colors and ordering samples till I found this Matte Magnetic Black color and it was the perfect color that I wanted. Darker than my 2016 wrap but still retained that pearlescent look.

The 1LE MRR wheel is my second choice in wheels (if I ever decided to change those would be my choice)

Wrapped the new rear diffuser last weekend, also wrapped and added some diffuser side splitter extensions (I think thats what they are called). Went with a different style than I had before.
Cut the exhaust tips 3/4" shorter on the ends where they mount so I could slide them in a little further, then welded them on for good.
It all turned out looking great.
I will get some pics when I can.
I had ordered a 2020 front bumper insert a few weeks ago, it got delivered. Going to wrap it Gloss Black and install it soon.

I wrapped the 2020 front bumper insert in gloss black 3M 2080 vinyl and installed this weekend (no after install pics yet)

I also removed the lighted inserts from my door panels and wrapped them to match the outside of the car (Matte Magnetic Black) and seriously thinking about wrapping the inside door handles also.

Ok finally got a decent pic of the 2020 bumper insert on my 2019.
I will be so glad when all this rain stops around here so I can get really good pics.




This weekend I vinyl wrapped my inside door handles and shifter knob in Matte Magnetic Black to match the outside of my car and to go with the lighted door panel inserts I wrapped last weekend.
I think it turned out looking awesome. I really like how you can still see “Camaro” and the stripes ghosted in on the shifter knob.
And yes I know its not appealing to everyone how I went crazy with the carbon fiber stuff inside, but I love it.
