This combination is set up for the Chevy Street Car Challenge 10.0 et drag class, but could easily be dialed in for a Road Couse car. Note: 700 plus wheel in one of these cars requires quite a bit of driver skill in order to maximize results.

Thank you. The 2650 upgrades are popular and we have a couple of ZLEs with them, which will be road raced. Regarding driving the ZL1 with over 700rwhp, I was referring to Road Racing it. Drag racing this car in the 10.0 class is a breeze.

Man the 2650 seems to be turning into the standard for blowers for these cars. I'm glad to see such great results. Initial results from blower swaps on the LT4s were very disappointing. So now that we're seeing some decent numbers for a good price I'm feeling a bit more excited!!

There no question you are correct.

We have seen more power per PSI boost as well as Highest boost on pump gas than ever before.

Ted.

Solid results Nickey...Power curve looks more like I would expect out of a PD unit.

I thought I remembered reading/seeing that ZR1 engineers were saying it takes about 100-horse' to turn that 2650. That being the case, it seems until you overcome that drag and get boost at least into the mid-teens, you might not see much gain. Cordez had a video of a 2650 on a Z06, with their top end (among other things), and was making some STEAM up there in the upper-teens, without sweating. They were talking some actual data during the video, so you had a good idea of some of the timing and boost they were pushing.

Officially Sold the Whipple..Just picked up the 2650 with 103TB snout and 3.15 pulley to start. This 2650 on my FBO , TH400 ZL1 is gonna be fun. Got a 9.5PTC converter. Cant wait to use the trans brake and let this ZL1 eat. I just want to give thanks to the few Socal 2650 fast guys for getting the ball rolling.

what I like about this is the power/torque curves are more gentle vs overturning the stock blower or the smaller aftermarket PD. To me, they seem to be making more power with less heat and not overloading the midrange torque (which happens when you overspin the smaller blowers).

To my mind this is a much more friendly torque curve.

Any more updates with the 2650 build? I'm looking to do the same build very soon.
