Edelbrock Supercharger members - CAI Intake?
What would be the best Intake for this supercharger?
I found these two; http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...airintake3.htm http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/...mponents.shtml Are these comparable as far as performance, sound, fitment? Thanks! |

I prefer the Rotofab version, but either will require custom tuning to make it safe and reap the benefits of the Cold air kit. I offer custom Remote tuning for this purpose. Ted.

I already had the non-edlebrock Rotofab CAI. Didn't want to spend the $250 + for a simple conversion kit(which I think is just a rip off when all you need is the plastic piece that holds the filter), so I Frankensteined the Rotofab and a section of the stock tube to make it work. I know a little off topic, but just saying I'm using the Rotofab and if you find a used one at a good price that's not E-brock specific, you can make it work easily.

I agree it does look a little better but I couldn't justify spending an extra $200 more for just a Intake. I got the Edelbrock competition Intake for $280 shipped.

This is our Edelbrock E-force intake system. We offer this in a complete system or as an upgrade kit for those that already have our SS intake. The upgrade kit contains the following:
E-force specific powder coated air box Stainless steel inlet elbow (texture black standard with polished option) 4" silicone hump hose 2 stainless steel hose clamps 90 degree breather fitting 3/8" ID silicone breather hose In other words, the upgrade kit is virtually the complete system less the MAF housing and filter. |

Hey I know its an old thread but I was just wondering who was happy with their Edelbrock CAI in comparison to the stock setup with a K&N stock filter repalcement.
