I've read The Game and know a few routines/methods/etc. It has never helped me. It also feels like lying, but I guess that's the best way to a relationship and sex.

if you take the game as just a pickup thing to get sex...its not going to work for what you want. you take the concepts to build yourself to a level YOU want to be at. you can't be happy with anyone else until you are happy with yourself.

I was happy with myself and applied a decent amount of game to myself. It didn't help. I guess I will just stay single.

This comment is meant to be kind so I hope you understand....you sound like you are in a negative place and kinda feeling sorry for yourself. If that's how you sound here, imagine how you sound in person, your body language, tone, facial expressions, everything will determine how others respond to you.

We watched Crazy Stupid Love last night and even though dealing with a married guy back in the dating world, there was a lot of truth in how we portray ourselves to others determines their responses. If you are positive, confident and happy, won't matter what you look like, hair color or clothes, people respond in kind.

Find something that makes you happy, forget about a girlfriend or dating and just enjoy life and what it brings you now. Change things up, try new things.

Yes, it sounds like you need a dose of confidence. Working out getting in shape, having a hobby that is fulfilling helps. Women are attracted to men that have confidence, have goals, and sense of humor help out. Not woas me type of attitude.

I am in shape, I have goals, I have hobbies, I think I still have a sense of humor (I haven't used it in forever), and I used to have confidence.

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong but almost every suggestion anyone has had on here you have ignored, put down, or claimed to have already tried. What's the point of having this thread anymore, all we see as people who post on it is a lost middle aged man with no hope. I'm sorry pal but we can't help you, look deep inside yourself, and if that doesn't work then pick your self up, move on, and accept that you'll be single. It ain't like the movies, nothing is going to miraculously change by sulking (and that's really what it sounds like you're doing)
