2021 Camaro cloth seat loose fabric

Title pretty much says it all, the seat has looked like this since the second day I’ve owned it and since 10miles. I had the drivers side seat cover replaced but within 2 days it looked like this....Name: 2797EA8F-C7BA-4B1F-AC10-76419B6BBF22.jpg

Size: 34.5 KB for reference you can easily pull on the loose fabric but on passengers side it’s so tight that it can’t be pulled at all. Do I need to have the whole driver seat replaced?

First I've seen, mine look same as new one year later, but I've only put 3Kish miles on mine as it is my weekend toy. Maybe yours may have been defective with extra slop? Definitely not normal and I would have the dealer look at it, escalate it if necessary. For what it's worth, have yet to burn my ass or be uncomfortable in the standard cloth seats.

Yes take it back to the dealership for repair or replacement. Issues like that is what your new car warranty is for! Good luck.

Mine was similar, underneath the seat it hooks onto a metal rod that keeps it stretched all the time. Maybe yours isn’t hooked?

Pause at 4:57 and you’ll see what I mean

Dealer. Go to the dealer. This is a new car that has had little use, and assumed no neglect. This is a dealer/Chevy issue to correct.

Didn’t even realize it was under warranty, I’d rather take to dealer so they deal with it under warranty imo lol

Otherwise you’ll be upside down in your back seat in awkward positions

I had the exact same problem with my 2017 1LT V6 when it was brand new, unfortunately even after replacing the seat clothe the dealer wasn't able to fix it and they blamed it on the way I was sitting. I'm a 135lb 5'6" guy, there are people much larger and heavier than I am driving these cars and their seats don't turn out like this.. ..in short.. ..it never got fixed.

I’ll be taking it back to dealer shortly, I’ve already had some pretty major issues within these past few months such as the door locks not working and car not starting lmao. I’m also only about 170 pounds and I’ve sat in the passenger seat plenty of times so I’ll update whenever this gets resolved
