Any outdoor cover will cause damage when the wind becomes a factor. If your vehicle is in a garage use a soft indoor cover, but even then too much on and off will eventually cause issues.

I used a California cover back in the 80s on my RX-7. It had nice cotton lining. It wasnt on all the time but often. It never did any damage after a couple of years. Car was always clean before putting it on.
I ordered the GM cover and returned it because it didnt compare well with the California. I tried to order a California and due to the virus they are 8 weeks out. I just want to keep snow and ice off the car as its about to be a daily driver mostly. I bought a cheap cover for half the price of the GM unit. But its really disappointing. Planning on using it for a few months then getting the CC. All this cosmetic stuff is a PITA. |
