The GForce Outlaw axles I'm running are rated for 1500 HP. Hoping I don't find out otherwise.

There is a possibility i could find a super built up 8L90, im not sure about 10L90's though. Not too familiar with the options that the 10L90 would have

I would say that it would probably never be driven on the street at that point. If it were to be driven on the street, for like race week or something, is there an overdrive type thing i could do? or what?

How are you going to get the ECM and PCM to function with those transmissions? Your Camaro will run like crap or not run and my thinking you would be better off buying a copo body and build a straight up race car with the engine and trans you are wanting to go with instead of f**king up your nice Camaro. It’s your Camaro so you do what you want. Good luck!

I was asking a purpose built car with full 25.1 chassis or some other plan.

7’s in a factory chassis approaches a point of diminishing returns.

ohhh definitely not. there would definitely be some chassis modification if not just building a whole new chassis

I have driven 3 speed auto for many decades and with 3.55 to 3.73 gears I find the car completely livable. I'm back in Hawaii and the driving distance is very low like 12 miles to work and 70 mile trip ever few months to the otherside of the island. I would find absolutely no issues with a LT1, turbo 400 and facotry 3.73, though I would admit the 3.55 set from a V6 would probably be better. Since my car at best would have 100 wear DR, I'm not too worried about having enough gear, heck the 3.55 might be a better street fighter gear. My built LS1 had a stall and factory 3.23 for a long while and I thought that was a near optimal setup for 100 wear DR Mustang fighting back in the day. I don't have anything as fast / quick as you are building, so I don't know if a 3.73 will get you the 60ft time you are after even with a stall. I'd bet it would depend more on if you were running a blower and what type. I'd never consider a powerglde on the street. Think of the TH400 as a glide with an OD.... LOL

I also went through all the 4 speed OD just as strong etc etc from the 80s, IMO NOTHING beats a build 3 speed auto for just long term (for what it is) it just works. I have replaced 50+ OD autos that were sold to races as "just as strong" as a 3 speed auto and you get OD for the street. I can't remember the last time I replaced a built 3 speed auto, that did not live a LONG life as a street strip machine. So I'm just sold on the 3 speed. Love to be proven wrong, but it has been more than 30 years that I seem to be right..... I'm getting old...
